I read a lot of blogs. Some are politically aware, some are socially-conscious, some are pure fluff. I fear that my blog falls into the latter category, although it was really never what I intended. Once in a while, I go into some kind of a social rant, but mostly I just talk about stupid stuff. Is it too stupid and inconsequential, or is it good to have a diversion from all the more serious stuff out there?
I do have something to say in the world (and it's not just about shoes and clothes), but I sort of wonder why my blog doesn't reflect it. Hmmm....should I work on that or just maintain the status quo?
Why am I even worried about this? I don't know. It just popped into my mind. By reading my blog, one might think that I am superficial and vapid. Well, yes and no. But mostly no. There is so much in the world that I could complain about, but I would prefer to focus on levity and fluff. Most of the time, my silly little blog provides it.
Just a little deep thinking on the day after Thanksgiving. Must be the sangria.
